Getting started

Do I need an account or a subscription?

No A little account is needed. Basic cleaning in the three spaces, 2/5/10-minute sessions, smaller steps, recent history, weekly progress, and optional reminders are free. Plus adds guided scene routines, reusable custom routines, and suggestions for your selected time and energy.

How do I keep a session for later?

While cleaning, choose to leave and select Pause & go to Start. Return to the saved session when you are ready. Ending a basic session saves any unfinished next step. Ending a multi-step Plus routine saves completed actions; starting that routine again begins at its first step. Pause it if you want to keep your place. Sending the app to the background alone does not pause the timer.

Can I use A little offline?

Basic cleaning, locally saved routines and history, and local reminders work on your device. New purchases, restoring purchases, loading current prices and offers, and refreshing subscription information require a connection to Apple. Plus access depends on the subscription status the app can verify.

Purchases and trials

I subscribed, but Plus is not available. What should I do?

  1. Connect to the internet and check that Media & Purchases on your iPhone uses the Apple Account that made the purchase.
  2. Open A little → Settings → Restore Purchases.
  3. Check Manage Subscriptions for the subscription’s status. Expired or refunded purchases do not provide ongoing access.
  4. If Plus is still unavailable, email us the app’s status message and your app/iOS versions. Do not send account passwords.

How does the three-day trial work?

An eligible introductory offer may provide three days of Plus, then renew automatically at the price and billing period shown by Apple unless canceled. Apple determines eligibility. Installing the app does not start a subscription trial; you must confirm the offer in Apple’s purchase sheet. Basic cleaning remains free without starting a trial.

Check the exact offer in the app. Month and year plans are in the same subscription group, so changing plans does not create a new introductory-trial entitlement. See Subscription terms.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

In A little, open Settings → Manage Subscriptions. You can also use iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → A little. Deleting the app or clearing progress does not cancel a subscription.

To avoid a trial renewing, Apple advises canceling at least 24 hours before it ends. Check the cancellation screen for the date your access ends. Apple’s cancellation instructions.

How do I request a refund?

For App Store charges, sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com using the purchasing Apple Account. Apple handles refund requests under its rules and applicable law; approval is not guaranteed. Read Apple’s refund instructions.

Progress and reminders

Will restoring a purchase restore my cleaning history?

No. Purchase access and cleaning data are separate. This version stores cleaning data locally and has no A little account or cloud-sync feature. Reinstalling or moving devices can lose progress, even if your subscription can be restored. Any system backup or device-transfer recovery depends on your device settings and is not guaranteed by A little.

Why are older sessions missing?

The current version retains up to 60 recent sessions, including sessions with no completed actions. Weekly totals use the saved records. Older records can fall outside this limit.

Why am I not receiving reminders?

  1. Check A little’s reminder settings, selected days and time. Daily reminders and session-end reminders are separate options.
  2. Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → A little and allow notifications.
  3. Check Focus and notification-delivery settings, which can silence or delay alerts.
  4. A paused or ended session does not keep its old session-deadline notification. Daily reminders follow their own settings.

If you recently changed system permission, reopen A little so it can refresh the status.

The app reports that progress could not be saved or read.

Check your device’s available storage and tell us the exact message. Avoid deleting the app or clearing saved progress while troubleshooting if you want to retain existing data. The app may keep a damaged local file as a recovery copy, but recovery is not guaranteed and we cannot access the file remotely.

How do I delete my saved progress?

In A little, open Settings → Clear saved progress and confirm. This removes local sessions, next steps, custom routines, and recovery copies. It does not cancel subscriptions or reset notification preferences. See the Privacy policy for details.
